In a small village, there are 7 residents, and some of them always tell the truth (“Truthful Residents”), while others always lie (“Lying Residents”). Each resident made the following statement:

  1. A: “B is a liar.”
  2. B: “C always tells the truth.”
  3. C: “D is a liar.”
  4. D: “E always tells the truth.”
  5. E: “F is a liar.”
  6. F: “G always tells the truth.”
  7. G: “A is a liar.”

Your Task

Based on their statements, figure out:

  1. How many truthful residents are in the village?
  2. Who are the truthful residents?
